The 1987 album Whitesnake brought great fortune to the British band.
With over 8 million copies sold in the United States alone, it's in fact Whitesnake's most successful album.
Two of the singles that drove the album are now the band's most famous songs: Here I Go Again and Is This Love.

So let's talk about Is This Love.
The song is written by singer David Coverdale and guitarist John Sykes.
The television network VH1, included Is This Love at number 10 in the 25 Greatest Power Ballads chart and at number 87 in the 100 Greatest Love Songs.
The video accompanying the song, directed by Marty Callner, features model Tawny Kitaen, Coverdale's girlfriend, who also appeared in the video for Here I Go Again.
