Welcome to 80s and Around.
If you are reading this blog, it is likely that you are a lover of the 80s... just like me.
My name is Claudia, and I belong to the so-called Generation X, so in the legendary 80s, I was a teenager. The music and lifestyle of that time still influence me today.
80s and Around was born as a journey into the memories of a generation that came of age between the more serious '70s and the more carefree '90s.

My other great passion, besides music, is literature.
I've been devouring books since childhood, and this has led me - even at an advanced age - to a new wonderful path: writing.
I love funny stories with original characters, but I write everything that comes to mind.
I write in my native language, but some books are available in English. Not many, but I'm working on it 😉.
If you like reading, between one musical post and another, you can take a look at my novels. They're currently available in e-book version (I'm a self-published author), but I'm working on publishing the paperback version.
A clarification: when I published my first story, I chose to use a pen name, so, you'll find Jennifer Simoni as the author's name on the cover of the books.
This blog is hosted on a free platform, so, at the moment, it has no costs.
However, managing it takes time.
The same goes for my stories: self-publishing, believe me, does not pay.
